Photo credit: Beverly Jackson		   I am an artist, musician, and science journalist based in Washington, D.C. My main interest is portraiture, of people and animals. I do most of my commissions using photographs I take of the subject, but if you live in my area, some sittings are also advised. I also copy photographs that people send me.

Prices range from $250 (a small animal portrait) to $3000 (a big family).
